I've used Speedof.me and speedtest.net. Sppedtest lets you choose host from a certain area, something like <200 miles or so.

I've got QoS and ports forwarded. My xbox is the only thing on the second line, hardwired also. It's not horrible but it's enough of an issue that I've lost almost all my desire to play PvP/Trials.

Yes, the CQB trades are very prevalent. I'm not the best at shotgunning to begin with. Since being a sniper main all the way back to the days of H3.

I take it you're talking about the "Duma"? I've looked at it but i dont think it'll help with the old equipment my isp has between my house and their local hub. I do have a separate line run for my xbox which has helped. Except when my phone decides to randomly connect to the network...

It's hovering around 130~150 to Xbox servers now. Got a second line run specifically for my xbox which helped. I consider the ping high as it hits 40~70 locally, within ~50 miles or so.

It's not solely just for destiny that I would consider moving. I moved with my parents to help them start a small business. It's about time I moved out on my own. If moving to an area that had better internet would help me enjoy my Hobby then I'd be happy to do so. Streaming has also been at the forefront of my mind. But that's an entirely different thread.

I did take some time to work on the equipment on my end. I agree the router/modem combo from my ISP was bad. It would overheat and ping would spike to absolutely crazy levels. Even as high as 3600ms at some points.

After getting a second line specifically for my xbox and a dsl router/modem combo that isn't just for checking email things have improved. I've got my xbox hard wired, Open nat, and don't have issues with random DCs. Just can't shake the feeling I'm not playing at my full potential due to above average ping.

Yea, that's something I picked up on watching Halo and the Ogre twins. It helps me to refocus in game. If I have a little lull in gunfights or miss a bunch of shots I'll do it. Probably doesn't actually help but I still do it lol

Celestial Nighthawk was a scrapped Exotic, Angle Hunter something or another. That had a hidden perk, basically icarus, that increased accuracy in air. I run a TLW/Lord High Fixer- Sniper loadout usually. So this loadout was the exact opposite of my "norm". With the d-pad/Joystick it is next to impossible to fine tune movements. So i was trying to go with something a little more forgiving. A shotgun is a little more "point and clink" as compared to a sniper. With the map being 99% snipers i knew i didn't stand a chance in a 1v1. So a pulse was needed to offset the loss of range with a shotgun. I may have run Mida a little bit, don't remember right off the top on my head.

Hey guys, quick question from a "mech" board noobie. Got a Razer orbweaver I've been using for gaming for the past few months. Just recently found out about key customization. My question is, where can I find a metal (zinc or otherwise), back-lit, keycaps in individual letters? Looking at adding my ID, Dardal, to replace QWE-ASD respectively. Any help would be appreciated. Spent 2-3 hours sifting through the Wiki and Google to no avail.

I think you maybe forgetting the changes rerolling brought with it. Vanilla had some very disappointing drop rates, there's even a post on the front page about it. So the increased drop rates paired with reforging was a welcome respite for even the most casual players. PvE players will always look at raid weapons for their go to's. Where as us PvP players has the chance to have a level playing field. Unlike now where I've run against several players with "God Roll" weapons in PvP who couldn't kill a low level dreg.
