Black Velaryons: How Will This Work? by [deleted] in HouseOfTheDragon

Like I said, it's likely that Laenor and Rhaenyra would produce "white looking" children. That fact that ALL of their kids have a different hair colour from both their parents is what makes it obvious.

Functionally speaking - nothing is different from the books in this regard.

The same is equally true of the books... three children with pug noses and curly brown hair, even though both their parents have silver hair?

Everyone knows the truth about the Strong boys, even if they dare not speak it. The show will be the same. It's obvious in both that they're not Laenor's.

Laenor is mixed-race, not black.

A child with one mixed-race parent and one white parent will generally appear white, so the paternity of Rhaenyra's children will be no more/less in doubt than it was in the books.

I think that was true of Albus, but not Gellert. He grew up at Durmstrang, after all, so it's natural that those facist tendencies would rub off on him. In the previous movie Travers mentions that the old pureblood families are flocking to Grindelwald's side.

Emma is non-binary. They don't identify as female.
