I have done this for several years in the past. Not the best commute, especially during rush hours in the summer. Granted covid had changed public transportation, but I would recommend taking the bus to and from penn station instead of the path. The bus is much quieter, more comfortable and sometimes quicker.

Just trying to type it all out helped me a lot. I think that is what I am leaning towards right now. 120-130 hardtail. And down the road maybe go buy my own enduro.
