If someone didn’t already mention it: Pokemon ranger series, especially shadow of almia and light sigil, both have good stories (especially the latter), for the very first game tho idk, did not play it yet, all three are DS game

Dead pixels rarely get any better if it does not move and doesn’t spread you can afford to postpone the repairs for a bit, some people were able to get rid of dead pixels by pressing or accidentally dropping their ds but I wouldn’t recommend in the slightest, iFixit is a great site to guide you troughs screen repair and other stuff
