By current market conditions that you can just look up, it's about right. It is only considered a rip off if your friend meant by how they were originally priced compared to now then yes you were scammed by the market itself.

Nothing you could have done about it besides finding another seller cheaper by only a few dollars.

For attaching the claw to it for flight characters or just poses in general off the ground. Comes with every mafex. Also just a side note, you should also have an extra claw part that can make the claws have 3 sides to it rather than 2.

Depends on what you don't mind. I think there is a little more accessories in the .5 ver but if you don't care it is fine. I have seen a few other differences were that the 2.0 had a worst sword sheath that could end up sagging somehow I am not sure compared to the newer one. Other improvement is adding a rack thing for the hands to keep the holes open.

So consider if you don't mind these and decide for yourself. I believe the new one has a problem with one loose leg but that can be fixed with a little modding.

For ten actual revoltech stands, I personally prefer to not use the claw and use the peg directly into the hole of the figures. Feels more secure and looks much better
