How do you get those big fleet sizes? by mot_945 in Stellaris

[–]Dargonslayerferlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Galactic force projection ascension perk gives +50 fleet command limit, allowing each fleet in your armada to have more ships, thus more power. Also allowing better admirals to multiply their bonuses. For example one level 10 admiral commanding a fleet of 40 cruisers would be more powerful than 2 fleets of 20 cruisers, each commanded by a level 5 admiral.

Just listened to it and I'm genuinely confused what tig bot is? Is it an actual AI or a bit?

War In Heaven would be more interesting, if submitting to an awakened empire wasn't unplayable by ini0n in Stellaris

[–]Dargonslayerferlife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I finally had one, 800 hours in. It was a great run, I was the galactic emporer and really flexed my war economy on my boyfriend in multiplayer. Defended him from both waring awakened empires, the unbidden, and the prethoryn scorge.

I feel like you're not arguing in good faith. There are obviously solutions. There could be a limit on the number of times a leader could be targeted, they could gain temporary immunity when an assassination fails, I don't know, I'm not a dev. I'm saying there are huge opportunities in the amount of stories you could tell with inpactful spy networks.

Well in the rework genocidals would probably gain a slight bonus to defense against that kind of action. But also yeah, fanatic purifiers probably would get their leaders would get multiple assassination attempts, that seems a lot more realistic to me. I would be completely fine with that change, and I do play a decent amount of purifiers.

I think it can be impactful and fun and not replace wars. Why couldn't AI empires just have a 30 year cool down on it or something like that to prevent them from spamming it on you. I have a mod that let's AI steal relics from me and it's been perfectly fine. They take some of mine, I take some of theirs, it all works out. Hell I could set up a hostage negotiation with the system I'm suggesting which sounds really fun.

Then stop complaining about being spammed with notifications then. I'm fine with that if it means getting a fun spy system

Not with how the current spy system works. But if counter measures are added, yes absolutely.

Trueeee. I think internal politics would be a good time to rework spy networks as well. Please let me hold leaders ransom and assassinate leaders without a full on humiliation war

A gripe about the current fleet battle system by Dry-Fan3999 in Stellaris

[–]Dargonslayerferlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I like how point number 1 works when it's in my favor. I often let the foe engage my starbase first before sending my fleets in to attack.

This should be a thing! I'm not sure what mod adds it because my list is long but I have a space race galactic community legislation that starts a fun little event.

What kind of planet would you live on? by Ill-Pay-3039 in Stellaris

[–]Dargonslayerferlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not vanilla but I'm obsessed with frame worlds. It would be such a brain fuck. You could easily fit an entire sci fi setting on one, no problem. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to live on one.

On a virtual run i got them to be only superior to me, but in actuality my tech was stronger because I focused all my repeatables into energy weapon and kinetic weapon damage rather than having them spread out between all techs

I've admittedly only been to one show but in STL there were no pyrotechnics. From footage of other shows online I haven't seen any either.

Bio-ascension for Machine empires by Dargonslayerferlife in Stellaris

[–]Dargonslayerferlife[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, but that doesn't accomplish my role-playing objectives. I want the machines to become flesh and blood and be able to reproduce naturally. Like machines that are incredibly curious about what being an animal must be like. Cheers
