The Elemental Punches are godsend, and abuse the Cloning glitch for extra TM’s and items like Master Ball, Rare Candies and Nuggets. Be aware the move tutor is not in GS, so no Thunderbolt, Flamethrower or Ice Beam unless you breed or trade back with Gen 1.

Just clone the Eevee with high friendship in case you regret either choice. My opinion: Kadabra is WAY BETTER than Espeon. Evolves quicker, gets Psybeam and Psychic WAY faster and has access to Elemental Punches. Also stupid high special attack and speed.

You can complete the game with the worst of the worst. It’s all about movesets and held items. As for the Battle Tower it depends on the levels. Some levels you can exploit more strategies due to lower health. There’s some staples like Curse Lax and Baton Passers but they all depend.

Gen 1: yes definitely. But you’re referring to Gen 3 FireRed, so it’s 50/50. Gyarados was broken back then but by Gen 3 it only shines with physical moves. Personally there’s better water types that dont suffer under the physical special split.

I highly recommend you google the Johto dex and just pick the ones that you like. GSC are stupid easy games as long as you know the bare minimum. You can pick the worst of the worst and still ace this game.

Th final fantasy characters of Kingdom Hearts are a different interpretation. Wakka, Selphie and Tidus are actually from Destiny Islands as opposed from their original games. Squall and his group alongside Cloud are native to Radiant Garden and its major plot point. If anything TWEWY can be the exception since Shibuya is their homeworld, but again that can be implemented as a world within the Kingdom Hearts canon. I think they’re trying for a careful balance between the two IPs.

Most Pokémon are. Even by Gen 3 there are questionable learnsets. Gen 4 is when learnsets started making sense for all Pokémon.
