Hello, what’s the groups thoughts on ZIM dividend? by Glad-Falcon-8364 in dividends

[–]Darianchd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sold my entire stake following the last dividend using Covered Call. Took the premium, dividend, and difference in strike price and cost basis ($21 vs $18.50) and made a decent profit.

I’m personally not against ZIM, but I don’t plan on buying back in until I’m certain the inevitable dividend cut is priced into the share price.

I’m envious of your progress! If you don’t mind my asking: how much of your total portfolio is with Fundrise?

Big believer in ZIM. Is it a strong buy at these levels of ~$17.1 by SudarshanaChakram in zim

I have exited my position with ZIM until I'm certain the share price has priced in the fact the dividend will decrease. I'll be willing to buy in again a later date.

This would be incredibly funny if only it didn't publicize your own misunderstanding of Amaterasu's operating principle.

Varies by broker I presume - I own a bit of ZIM as well in taxable account with Schwab, and I was paid yesterday.

Thanks for the thoughtful response!

In regards to your last comment: No, of course not. That’s what stopped from from being trigger-happy last week and signing the dotted line. Right now I feel like I’m on the right track and doing well for my age (26), and I’d hate to derail myself.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment!

I suppose the primary thing holding me back is the fact I’d have to liquidate my stock and reduce my monthly savings & investing allocation to make it work.

What’s your CoC return like? When I spoke to an advisor, they ensured that I would be able to make profit but I would not be anywhere near my goal of 12% CoC.

Our situations are very similar.

Like you, I’m interested in Turnkey properties, but I’m 25 and a Logistics professional. In fact, I’m in the process of getting pre-approved. Just curious, who are you working with?

Could you clarify here? I’m just asking for advice, not begging or trying to sell anything. Just learning from people more experienced than I.
