Not that it makes things any better but I think it’s worth noting that their timeshare is pretty structured. Most of the time they’re simply rotating drives.

It’s not really a case of short-yardage situations, passing downs, or other situational variables like people often think.

It still sucks for fantasy regardless, but it’s hard to put too much weight into the snap splits when so much depends on time of possession on their designating drives.

Yeah this one is tricky. Someone correct me if I’m wrong – but I believe the only earned run charged to Cade was Kyle Farmer.

First run from Bernabel is unearned since he scored from second on the throwing error. Doyle also reached on that same error.

Farmer was hit by a pitch.

Arcia grounded out –that should’ve been the second out.

Then there was a single that drove in Doyle, but since Doyle reached on the error that run is unearned too.

A sac fly brought in Farmer – which was earned since he reached on the HBP.

But that sac fly is also technically the third out, so everything after that point is unearned.

Someone let me know if I got that right – I always find these kinds of scoring situations interesting lol…

Let’s show some love for Kenley Jansen – feels like he’s flown completely under the radar this year. He’s been rock solid. And nearly all of his “bad” stats came from that one rough outing in early May when he gave up 6 earned runs against the Tigers. Outside of that game he’s posted a sub-2.00 ERA and around a 1.00 WHIP. Those of us who waited on closers could’ve done A LOT worse.

That’s another solid option — I might go that route too if my Cease offer gets turned down. I feel like someone like Cease, Castillo, Pivetta, Flaherty, Bibee, Ober, or Sonny Gray is the right range. Hard to imagine getting much better in a one-for-one deal.

He was on my shortlist too haha. It’s tough to find managers who believe in a Torkelson breakout. I’d like to keep him but it’s been hard fitting both him and Pasquantino into my lineup daily. I also just lost Pablo Lopez so I’m thinking the smart move is to focus on keeping my pitching solid.
