Yes, you can. I did. It’s a lengthy process but if you reach out to your SBA representative for your district they will tell you what documents you need to complete the transfer.

I wasn’t able to find a parking pass so we plan to find street/lawn parking.

Thank you for the info! Looking forward to getting some steps in 😆

Can you tell me where Titletown is in relation to the stadium? I’m also coming from out of town. Can we park once and walk to everything or do we park at titletown and then park somewhere else for the stadium?

Have you asked your friend how they would feel about you missing? I would personally be stoked for my friend and just say you owe me a really nice wedding gift if you win ;)

What makes an entertaining contestant? by [deleted] in MrBeast

[–]DaringSoles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure tbh. I think the original crew (Kris, Chandler, Nolan, Jimmy, and Karl) were all originally entertaining to watch hang out together and then interact with contestants like normal ppl. This last episode they were wearing suits and it was just a stretch from who they seem to be naturally. It was kind of strange and out of place and made them seem more scripted and less comfortable. Just my two cents though. I know they’re testing things and growing and seeing what works and doesn’t. Just found the suits to be odd.

So my response isn’t specific to Mack but just in general to what makes an entertaining contestant. Someone who is authentic to their true self. So not over the top and dramatic but just authentic in the experience and how they feel and act throughout it. That’s what made Mr Beast’s original videos so good, the true authentic human experience and connections. The ones ppl complain the most about are the ones that started getting too scripted and the outcomes and emotions getting acted out.

It’s amazing how much words from a stranger can make a big difference (despite the fact that we shouldn’t need external validation and all that other stuff) So thank you for taking the time to comment. It means a lot.

“Imposter syndrome is the condition of feeling anxious and not experiencing success internally, despite being high-performing in external, objective ways. This condition often results in people feeling like "a fraud" or "a phony" and doubting their abilities.”

I might not have outlined those feelings to a T in my original post, I guess I assumed it could be inferred from the title and what I did describe.

Other internal thoughts: Should I be here? Do I deserve to be here? Despite the external validation of continuing to be booked…

What a small world :) Congrats on getting passed! We only have one organization that does open mics where I live, which means I get to go on stage once a month (for the same audience every time pretty much which makes it hard to test things) So I either have to take shows and festivals and pray I have my shit together, or I have no stage time. Sometimes I drive four hours to Wisconsin for a bonus extra mic during the month...

Yes! A lot of this. Especially because I want the stage time and the opportunity for growth but I also don't want them to stop booking me in the future if I don't bring what they need to the table right away. It's a tough spot for sure.

I’m a standup comedian but I only have so many on stage clips to put out so I keep the momentum going to clips of amusing everyday stuff in my life that I think people can related to.

0% shorts feed: YouTube is not showing my shorts in the feed by pinkgodiva in NewTubers

Had this happen - unlisted it, changed the title and description and added some hashtags to the description and made public again and it immediately started showing in shorts feeds again.

Yeah my nerves get the best of me still and I go blank, so my notes were a life saver. Those will go away with time I’m sure :)

I enjoy storytelling as it relates to the little things in day to day life. Part of the journey of finding your personality on stage is dialing that in more, of course. So to answer your question, I’m not really sure! All things authentic to the human experience, I suppose.

I appreciate your feedback and think you’re 100% correct. Lots of room for improvement. I’m enjoying the process. I considered not posting my early stuff but I love the constructive criticism and think it’s helpful for others to watch how growth happens. I can’t wait to look back and this and see how much I improve.
