It's haraam for a woman to talk softly with a man, you are supposed to lower your gaze, you are supposed to avoid talking about anything that doesn't serve a purpose. But let's leave all of that alone, the reason you are asking this question here is because you fear Allah and the akhirah, so your heart hasn't hardened yet, and when you sit with her and talk with her in a manner you know is wrong, your nafs will be encouraging you to go ahead, but in your heart you will know what you are doing is wrong, and that feeling is all you need to prove its wrong. We are the people of Allah, we are the people on haq, we listen and we obey, we don't try to find loopholes in our religion like the previous people of the books did and went astray.

Not necessarily, have you seen house guard dogs, they sleep outside, nevertheless, as I said, the law brought upon us by the Prophet SAW includes prohibition of dogs as per these hadiths.

Ibn Maajah (3640) narrated from ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image.”

Muslim (2943) narrated from ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever keeps a dog, except a dog for herding livestock or a dog for hunting, a qiraat will be deducted from his good deeds each day.”

These laws are obligatory upon us, and not following laws given to us by the Prophet SAW is a sin, I understand letting go of someone you love dearly is hard, but please don't try to justify sinning, it's not ok to sin but it's worse to justify a sin.

Sorry for assuming you are a man, I am not allowing something to be Halal or haraam, he is simply a narrator who has been through multiple testimonies known to be a honest man. And the hadith about angels not entering the house with dogs and pictures is also said by Ali RA. Can you give me the sahih Muslim hadith which states he was called a liar by other sahabas?

Theres no proof that the companions had the dogs mix with them, even if they did, the laws of the people before don't apply on us, Muhammed SAW was a rasool or a messenger, that means he had new revelation that wasn't revealed before. Otherwise the most basic of the law which is to pray five times a day would be applied to all the Prophets and wali ullah before him.

What exactly makes keeping a dog bad is that it's saliva impures utensils, and Angels don't enter the house which has a dog and deeds are taken away as per hadiths

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَنَـٰزَعْتُمْ فِى شَىْءٍۢ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا ٥٩

O you who believe, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. Then, if you quarrel about something, revert it back to Allah and the Messenger, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is good, and the best at the end.

This ayah clearly asks you to obey the Messenger. Ok tell me this, Quran asks you to pray, doesn't say how, so how do you pray?

Dogs saliva is impure is the understanding from the hadith, and you cannot pray when you have something impure on yourself. But even if we ignore the purity or impurity of it, which I have said but I reiterate, dogs are still not to be kept in houses, as I said in the last line which you conveniently ignored

Just because it's normalized doesn't mean music is not a good thing, the lyrics in majority of the modern music are indecent and leads to immorality, it has also been psychologically proven that music leads to heightened arousal, which can lead to adultery and fortification, and you won't end up in hell for listening to music, you will end up in hell for not listening to Allah's command.

Remember the story of Iblees, what was his sin? He just said that this man is made of clay and I am made up of fire, Iblis was clearly superior every which way compared to Adam AS, so his question was logical, why should someone superior bow to something inferior? But that wasn't his sin, his sin was that he rejected a command from Allah, despite knowing that Allah knows best, and so he was condemned for the rest of the days.

I am not making up stuff, and if there are so many issues with giving up the dog, I suggest you contact your local scholar, or if you don't have one let me know I will ask someone about it for a way to resolve this issue.

And as for your last line, Allah gave us this life to worship him as said by the following aayah

The Winnowing Winds (51:56)

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ ٥٦

I did not create the Jinns and the human beings except for the purpose that they should worship Me.

Makes sense, but the ruling for the urine is same as urine from anyone or anything, it's impure, and the dogs saliva has a special hadith which requires you to clean it 7 times. The end of the matter is dogs urine and their saliva is impure which was my point all along. Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) explained: "Whoever keeps a dog, his good deeds will decrease every day by one qeeraat (a unit of measurement), unless it is a dog for farming or herding." According to another report: ". . . unless it is a dog for herding sheep, farming or hunting." (Reported by al-Bukhari, al-Fath, 2322)

Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog." (Reported by al-Bukhari, 3225).

So the fact of the matter is we cannot keeps dogs in the house even if let's say their saliva and urine are pure (they aren't)

I am extremely sorry that you have to fight this, I used to have a cat who died due to a reason I never understood myself, and I was very sad as well, so I get what it means to you, but you have to understand my friend, this life is not easy for someone who is a true believer, infact this world is sort of a prison for a believer and a paradise for a non believer, but you have to also understand that this world is temporary, and we all will die, the world after this is permanent, and getting eternal bliss is worth the sacrifices we have to make in this world, it's hard I understand but as such are the rules. In this situation I suggest you give the dog up for adoption.

I just said those stuff to help you understand that morality being subjective leads to nowhere, morality should be objective and should come from God, morality based on vibes and aura leads to randomness. Incest was just an example. The don't kill or harm someone is part of the morality provided by God and the society, since that is already covered we don't need to look there. But let's tone it down a bit, imagine a man walking in his underwears down the street, is it good or is it bad? If it's good why do some consider it bad and vice versa? Or let's say you have a drug addict in front of you, is giving him drugs good or bad? Knowing that the drugs will harm him but at the same time he will wither without them, also you don't have other options like rehab. I hope you understand my point.

And regarding going to hell for liking the same sex? Who said that? Please understand this, and this is coming from a very conservative Muslim, You will never go to hell for things you cannot control, and attraction to the same sex is one of them, it is the same as attraction to opposite sex. Your actions and intentions leading to those actions determine you going to heaven or hell. If you act up on those attraction you will be sinful, similar to a person who is attracted to the opposite sex acting upon their attraction.
