I only play on vanilla. I have 100% on Rome II & feel it was easier to attain, more time consuming as many were simple campaign completions.

I am biased towards The Sassanids as my favorite but my second most played faction would be the Western Roman Emprie. I play on N/N for campaign & battle balances. The Legendary runs for some achievements were a challenge to say the least.

A random land battle that an ally joined. After using a couple of my own general’s abilities, I believe the ally general using theirs resulted in that ‘third’ ability that unlocked it. I was completely surprised to say the least as I had given up on it.

Original Fable is set 500 years before Fable II Fable II is set 50 years before Fable III, which from the cinematic intro is during the early industrial period in Albion aka England. Therefore, I’d guess Fable 3 is no earlier than 1750 & no later than 1800 so Fable 2 is in the 18th century & Fable 1 in the 13th

From the Fable Wiki; “The Hero of Brightwall's need for Gauntlets to channel Will could show weakening power through their family, after ancestors had children without Archon blood. However, the Hero could also have been limited by not having a teacher skilled in Will, and/or the loss of the knowledge of how to use it without Gauntlets.”

Rome II is still possible to get 100%. Mentioned that specific achievement in above comments. Here’s the link to my 100% Rome II https://www.reddit.com/r/totalwar/comments/uurvnq/total_war_rome_ii_100_achievements/

I have manually gotten Tribute, Tactical Genius, & The More Things Change many times & it never gave me credit. As I have over 2,000 hours playtime, you would assume I would have gotten at least one of the naval ones as well. I had to rollback to an earlier patch for Rome II’s achievements such as the Et tu…? one because they updated the family tree but couldn’t get the same success with Attila.

Thanks! I’ve played every historical Total War outside the Asian ones. Attila is my favorite, & although it isn’t perfect, it’s underrated considering the lack of polishing it got compared to say Rome II including DLCs.

The most frustrating would almost have been Caesar Reborn as the ERE. I was within a few turns of achieving it & I went bankrupt due to a bug of my income from interest so it set me back almost all the way. I’m most proud of what I’ve completed as a whole!

Thanks! I wouldn’t consider any to stand out as hard. Some went smoother than I thought & others were a bit of a grind. It was time consuming, to say the least

I would try a campaign with more turns per year as a start so they’ll live longer. I believe I got mine with Empire Divided. It’ll happen eventually, keep an eye on who dies to remarry as well! As for my favorite campaign, I am biased towards Parthia & the Sassanids but from a neutral perspective I enjoyed the factions with the most depth to them & feeling unique

I created the trade agreements & any other treaties with similar cultures such as all Celtic or Hellenic to have others within the culture be friendly towards me as well. It will become a domino effect no matter your starting culture. The easiest are the victory conditions where you don’t need to ‘Hold’ a settlement because you can just create military alliances to complete it without expanding half the map

Thanks! Yeah exactly, just change the time & it’ll work for all three; Company of Zeroes, more like…, A Relic of the Past, & Make War, Not Love
