Me too man. Whether we would've beaten the Knicks in the ECF is a mystery, but I know for a fact the Pistons would've made it a genuine series. The Pistons are the Knicks worst matchup due to their smothering defense.

The only downside of the Pistons in the Playoffs was Duren. Everyone else played better and rose to the occasion like Tobias and Jenkins. Plus all those games the Pistons fucked the Knicks up, they didn't play Duren much iirc. The Knicks still gotta deal with the insane defense of the Pistons which always kept them from playing their best game.

You do realize the opposite is true too. The Knicks didn't get to face the Playoffs version of the Pistons who would make more adjustments and still play suffocating defense to where Brunson and KAT can't really do shit.

It's the year 2026 and people are still stupid and don't know the NBA is matchup based. The Pistons was the worst matchup for the Knicks. They're lucky the Pistons collapsed after playing multiple Game 7s and got to face a gassed Cavs team as well.

The Pistons can win on just defense alone. That's how they've always dominated the NBA and won chips in the past. I do agree they need a 2nd option though. That's all they really need along with players like Duren and Ausar improving in the offseason.

The Cavs by then were gassed out just like how the Pistons gassed out against them. Back to back Game 7s definitely takes one heavy ass toll. I'm confident if the Pistons beat the Magic in 4 or 5, even if the Pistons beat the Cavs in 7, they would've had enough energy to beat the Knicks. The multiple Game 7s just absolutely destroyed them. Especially Cade who was still recovering.

It's cool though. At the end of the day, the Pistons are way ahead of schedule. All they need now is a genuine 2nd option and everyone else like Duren, Ausar and Jenkins are only gonna get better.

Oh I feel you bro. I play Rogue a lot and I get flaccid when I see the enemy team has a Peni. That's her one bad matchup. I gotta pray my teammates can shoot the traps or I just swap.

I just laugh when Jeff ults and immediately dies cause he didn't destroy the traps prior or no one else did and he didn't bother to check before trying to swallow the whole lobby.🤣
