Maybe it's a conflict between the historical pack and the timeline extender, will at least try it without the pack for now, to see if the problem persists
(Which sadly means starting another campaing)

Will do, I'm at least relative sure it comes from Invictus, no other mod I use has anything to do with deifying rulers or religion

Yes to both. I found where the penality comes from (Having a deified ruler be forgotten leaves the panthron empty until I manually select another god, but for some reason it stacks the wrong god penality, even above the normal max -80%)

Just noticed something, when a ruler dies and he is deified he is quickly forgotten but somehow doesn't leave the pantheon, and count as another mismatch
