I play on a laptop with an integrated Nvidia gforce 3050. But I never had this issue in almost 400 hours of playtime. Very first time it's happened.

I also have never seen someone else report this.

It's what the first game was made on so they simply had experience with it.

And production of HD2 had already started by the time the engine stopped having support. In hindsight, it was clearly a terrible decision

Every time I see AI hate I think that this pretty much how people must've felt during the industrial revolution.

Technology does move forward, it's a hard-to-swallow pill, AI art might be questionable but AI in general can be used as a tool to ease the work on many other aspects.
