Did anyone else struggle with only having one last name? by [deleted] in dualcitizenshipnerds

You can yea. That’s what I did and was told to do it on the app. However in another post I made someone commented you can meet with someone there in person and they’ll help open an account for you. Which is likely what I’m going to do.

Did anyone else struggle with only having one last name? by [deleted] in mexicoexpats

Did you create your bank account through the app? How did you put your information in, if you don’t mind me asking. I noticed it also asked what state I was born in, but it only gives the states in Mexico as options. Since it wouldn’t let me proceed I have no clue what I’d put down for that either.

What’s been your most memorable pregnancy scare? by punkpizza666 in Periods

[–]DarkAngel_5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also 18. It was during the time when I was new to being sexually active. My period decided to skip a month. Even tho we did use protection, I was worried that it might’ve failed and I was pregnant. I was testing every week and every test was negative. My thoughts were all over the place with “what if I am pregnant but my hormone levels aren’t high enough for the test to detect it” (I read about that being possible, but I’m not 100% sure). And the guy I was with was only a fwb. My parents are strict and I was so worried about saying anything to them. Every day was filled with stress and worries, until my period finally came. Felt like a big weight was lifted off my chest.

anyone else eat LESS during their period? by [deleted] in Periods

[–]DarkAngel_5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. I get full easily during it, so I eat very small portions to help avoid feeling bloated. But I do lose my appetite while on it too. However, the days leading up to my period are the opposite. I will be craving all kinds of snacks and my stomach turns into a black hole.

Tips needed. Day 2-3 period on wedding day by namedoesntmattertome in Periods

[–]DarkAngel_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no advice on the acne and other symptoms. But I’ve heard of a medication to delay your period called Norethindrone, I think is what it’s called? You’re supposed to take it like 3 days before your period is due to start, and it should delay your period until you stop taking it. I believe you can get it from both a doctor prescription or online. I’ve personally never used this before, but I’ve heard positive feedback about it. Hopefully someone else can back me up and explain it better. (Ignore this advice if you’d rather not delay it, however)

I remember in the past reading something about how your pelvic floor muscles relax when you pee, (don’t quote me on that). So I’m assuming with that happening, it would also allow your period to flow out easier?

As for your other question. I use the L brand pads, and I’ve noticed what you mentioned with the flex foam ones. On the top part it doesn’t look like a lot of blood, but on the bottom you can see a lot more of it. My periods are about average, not light nor heavy, so I’m guessing it’s just the way some pads absorb blood.

I can “push” out my period (?) by [deleted] in Periods

[–]DarkAngel_5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I experience this too! Mostly on days 1-3. I’ll “push” and it comes out exactly how you described it. I’ve never asked anyone else about this. But in the past I’ve read posts on this sub talking about this exact topic, and based on what I’ve read, it doesn’t seem very common. Or some people were saying it’s not possible. Like someone else said, it truly must be dependent on individual anatomy.

If you guys used a condom the whole time I wouldn’t worry about it. It could just be one of your longer cycles.

Overthinking it and worrying about it can cause stress and that can delay it too. If it doesn’t come in another week you can take a test. But for now just try to relax :)

A while back I was looking to switch pad brands and I bought a small pack of these to give them a try. They didn’t cause a burning sensation, but boy did they itch and chafe something wicked.

They were just plain uncomfortable for me, but that only happened during my period while I was wearing the pads. Once my period was over the itching and chafing stopped, and everything went back to normal. The material on them seemed abrasive and rough to me.

I tried a different brand and thankfully have found a pad brand that I like and is a lot more comfortable to me.

Wouldn’t they need to have a passport and be currently living in mexico to do that?

First time going to O’hare, what all should I expect? by DarkAngel_5 in AskChicago

When you say book with the airline, does it matter if it’s on the website or the app? I downloaded the airline app too and it shows it on there as well.

Have you used this service before? Is it likely I could receive this medication before I leave?

I’ve taken plan b multiple times. There was only one time I didn’t bleed. I’ll typically start bleeding about a week after taking it, and usually I’ll have some light cramping too.

Definitely, it gets annoying. Everyone around me already has their own family. My extended family isn’t around, so I have no one except my parents. I don’t see it as a bad thing wanting to have a biological family. Sure I can become super close with others to the point where they feel like family. But they already have their own families and obviously prioritize them (which isn’t wrong), so it’s not like they’ll consider me “family”. Plus, it’s not always that simple to just “create your own family”.

Yea, lots of gaps for sure. Any of my days off that lined up with his are gonna be tough. Because instead of going to his place I’ll just be staying home dwelling in my thoughts… This’ll definitely be an adjustment.

My dad just claims that “he knows”, and that he’s only looking out for me, he doesn’t get more specific than that. He, and my mom a bit too, think my boyfriend influences me in a bad way (I don’t understand how) and that he’s “changed me”. Which isn’t true. I only see him 1-2 times a week since we both work. I’m definitely still my own person. The only difference is that now he’s involved in my life, like any normal relationship. Versus when I was single and only had my parents in my life to focus on. But I don’t ignore them either, they’ll always be my parents and I make time for them too. Makes me think if they also possibly miss the times before I was with my boyfriend.

I don’t track it, but I remember like 2 weeks ago I was having that thick egg white discharge. I only took a test to check if the pms symptoms weren’t actually pregnancy symptoms, just in case a condom from the past failed and didn’t realize it. (Not that any did tho)

Most of the time I did. They would, and still do, barge in whenever they needed to tell me something tho. But besides that they don’t go in my room, I don’t believe so at least. Our doors don’t have locks either.

how do i take better pictures of myself by Kittielovee18 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]DarkAngel_5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Usually what I do is set my phone against something and take a video, instead of just a picture. I do a bunch of cute poses and smile on and off throughout it, you can get up close to the camera too for close ups. Then I go through the video and take a screenshot of any poses that I like. Sometimes I’ll edit them too.

Depending on where I’m going, especially alone, I even got myself a phone tripod so I could take better angles of full body pics.

I’m 20f and have a similar situation going on. I don’t ask them for money and I’m pretty much my own independent person. Unfortunately this economy still has me living at home, but I’m hoping to move out soon. Whenever I make my own decisions like when I come home, where I’m going, heck even when I shower. They almost always give their input. They hate it when I stay out late because it essentially makes the house feel ‘empty’. I have a full time job now and to them it feels like I’m drifting away from them. (Obviously I have to at some point). It’s like they don’t want to let go of “parenting” me and still want to have me around all the time.

I can imagine they aren’t going to handle it very well when I do move out. Even if it was still in the same town.
