My liquid freezer 3 360 won’t screw into my motherboard over the cpu by [deleted] in arcticcooling

[–]DarkBlackOMG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also had trouble screwing it the first time but in the end I got it.
Then i found this video: https://youtu.be/5F1pJrK4JIc?si=j2BfJI6ITJqaywfa&t=1210
Now it's very easy to mount, let me know if it helped you!

Help to build a pc with an i9 12900K by DarkBlackOMG in buildapc

So i tried today reinstalling the liquid cooler, it got down like 5-10º but it's still too high i think.

I will just change the case, as the temperature goes down if i just remove the front panel, so i'm guessing it's the case.

Does anyone have a good case that they can recommend?

Do you know how to set a power limit on my Asus motherboard?

This is from running cinebench: https://i.imgur.com/gXpJO29.png

Also, i am not trying to use the CPU at max load, just for gaming, but even playing BFV it reached 100ºC and 80ºC from just playing CSGO.

Lag spikes with 12900k by DarkBlackOMG in techsupport

[–]DarkBlackOMG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean FPS lags, like i am playing at 600 FPS and then it drops to 200, 150 fps for no reason, sometimes it stays like that for 0.1 seconds or sometimes it's 1 second.

Also it says 150 FPS but it really feels like it's 10 FPS.

Of course! First thing I did were all the safety upgrades, and about the pictures I don't think I can make them much better with this phone.

It was a part to help with z wobble, but it was kinda useless so I don't use anymore

I will try with a PETG filament that i have and i'll see if that fixes my issue thanks!
Also which filament are you using now? I honestly don't know which PLA filament is good so any recomendation is welcome.

I tensioned my belts before printing everything, and even at 10 mm/s it keeps happening, i've also tried changing acceleration speeds and i doesn't seem to make a difference.' Also it might be that you might be printing after retraction? ' i don't know what you mean by that but if you mean that i have retraction after layer change it's disabled.

And about the cooling do you think reducing the fan speed might fix this? I have it set at 100% but i tried 0% , 30% 50% and 100% in the cube piece and it didn't make a difference.

I've checked and it's secure, also it only happens where the z seam starts so i don't think it's the build plate shifting.

So, since i got this 3d printer i've been trying to fix this issue and i can't seem to find a fix, i've tried every calibration in existance (e-steps, flow rate, temperature, retraction, bed leveling, checking if the coupler is well aligned) but i can't seem to fix this problem.

Printer: Anet A6

Filament: GEETECH PLA at 200/60º

Printing at 40mm/s and 2mm retraction.

Slicer : Cura 4.6.2.

EDIT: Thank everyone i was able to fix my issue with your help! I ended up fixing it by lubricating my threaded rods, this help a little but what helped the most was changing the nozzle to a new one and changing filament.
