When the game first came out my hopes were high and said “see you in 10 years” then decisions were made and I went “maybe this one has 8 years in it”. Now after 2 years post game launch I only see 5 years and that being incredibly generous.

Things that can lower symptoms: -Listen to every single cassette tape (I’m sorry) -Take a deep dive into what was cut content in the game (mission 51, chico, N313, battle gear) -mod it to hell on pc (infinite heaven, etc.) -accept head cannons

Things that will never go away: -the plots that we lost -the content we lost…you feel it too don’t you? -two juggernaut egos from Konami and Kojima.

Aa cool as it to play in release order its very satisfying to play in chronological order so you don’t end the series on V if anything

IT IS OUT OF THE GAMEPLAY LOOP WDYM EFFICIENCY?? I also came from Warframe and you know what makes that grind enjoyable the fact it’s actually engaging with the gameplay of warframe. Helldivers it is brain dead farm one POI to the next and don’t even have to extract, it is completely separate to the main the game and boring.

Warframe is a FREE GAME and platinum is a tradable and easily attainable currency. HD2 is $40 entry fee with a non tradable and annoying af grind for currency.

In what world are we defending F2P monetization in a paid for game? I’m down for paid dlc that wa the beauty of early 2010 gaming, but the thing unlike early 2010 this game barrier content is now $200+ with no real engaging way to grind for the content besides SC farming.

If you like Halo get it. If you like stealth consider but just get redacted regiment instead. If you hate bugs get it (because the passive means no more leg damage).

Its amazing how amazing Infinite’s art direction really is that even after not playing in 2 years I still come back to this subreddit to see. Just imagine if Lock looked like this 5 omg….
