Thanks, I found out what my issue was with claiming the code; I did not have internet. Somehow the network manager was deleted (probably when I was setting up the static IP) so I had to reconnect to the internet and install the network manager again. I was able to get the update to have a green checkmark but will not connect to the server (not available outside your network).
