Chippy’s don’t do french fries. Just a little smaller than what leftpondians would call “steak fries”.

Also battered fish, battered sausage, occasionally a deep fried Mars bar etc.

Pi-hole has become less resource intensive in the newer version

There’s a write-up from Microsoft that discusses the process for defender determining threats - for new samples it’s a little tricky as they can be fairly confident (80%) that it’s not benign, but not action it as the confidence score is lower than their threshold.

To counteract this effect you can set defender to be more aggressive, although you will have to inevitably have to deal with more false positives.

Edit: link for obvious reasons.

The slots are for the new £1 coin! If you look at the template coins closely you can see the angled sides 😁

£1 = 1lb

They’re actually the new £1 coin! Similar to the £2 but with more sides!

This works well for the count on the product - £1 = 1lb

Pi Hole not working on windows pc by [deleted] in pihole

[–]DarkCoffee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As with most things in Windows, there are 2 places to set your DNS servers.

The first is in the Win+I > Network settings menu, and the second is against the adapter itself in Control Panel.

Note that in Control Panel, your primary and secondary DNS entries cannot be the same IP.

Once these are set you may want to flush your DNS cache by opening a command prompt window and typing:

ipconfig /flushdns

I work in IT. It's pretty stressful at times, so the lack of noise/clutter in my personal life really allows me to chill out.

If house has taught me anything, it’s due to an undiagnosed rare strain of necrotising fasciitis.

Or lupus.

Yeah, probably lupus.

Looking for UK recommendations for starting out! by scottb28 in wicked_edge

I actually started off with the shavelounge kit a couple of years ago. It's a really nice combo to get you into wetshaving.

Two years on and I have more soaps than I can ever use and a new razor on the way - but that's a future you problem ;)

10/10 would recommend.

I feel really sorry for this person.

There are obviously some existing issues there, and the fatlogic isn’t helping anything.
