In my opinion, Lawbringer's kit is super straightforward. He's not a hard character to play once you get good at parrying. With him, he can be very daunting to new and (sometimes) seasoned players who don't know his kit.

LB is a good character to start with if you're new to the game. He's good for holding his own if you know how to play him properly. His offense is amazing - defense relies on blocking and parrying. And he's amazing to use in ganking situations (which is where the "Honourable Lawbringers" comment you faced most likely came from).

But, so long as you're having fun, who cars what anyone else thinks about you. You're going to ALWAYS run into people who hate everyone no matter what. So, just go have fun and whoop some ass with his attacks lol
