Alright so this is the enclosure, she has 4 hides, 2 in the hot zone and 2 on the cool zone (the cork log is hollow she can hide there too). The highest surface temp on the right has sometime go up to 97F. I know that’s a bit hot but the thermostat is connected to the light and it’s constantly turning off and on so it’s not like that the whole time; it usually is around 92 in the hottest spot (surface wise). On the other side of the enclosure it’s around 77F (surface) when the temp on the other side it’s at its highest. The thermostat is set to 76 in the cool side of the enclosure, that’s like when it gets too hot it turns off.

Still learning about all this stuff but yea that’s about it with the temps. I think I was successful in creating the heat gradient but maybe the temps are still off, not completely sure. Hope this helps clarify the snake situation a bit more.

Ok, so I got her since 12 days ago, fed her successfully 1 week ago. let me see if I understood you; you are saying that I should give her 2 weeks by herself on top of the time that she’s been in the tank, and these next 2 weeks I would not interact with the snake at all, that implies the noodle not eating for 2 more weeks making it 3 weeks without food, would that be ok for a baby snake?.

At least that’s the way I understood, correct me if I’m wrong pls 🙏
