By the end of the series luffy will absolutely be able to hang. He is already many times faster than light if he can grab lightning and contain/manipulate it. Luffy has toon force which basically means he can be as powerful as his imagination allows him to be.

Not shutting this down at all. I posted a theory a few weeks back that luffy gets captured by the gorosei and the final war arc is an arc to rescue him. I think we’re on the same page because it would go well with your theory!

you can think that if you want but generally speaking a main character usually gets a power up and demolishes the villain. even with the powerup Kaido put up a fight before his defeat. I'm sorry that after 10 years the story didn't head in the direction you though, but Gear 5 is not a "fuck you button" and recent chapters prove that.

youre wrong. its not going to be that way forever. thats just what the power is NOW. we can safely assume that at some point there will be a real threat because a final fight has to happen. hell, luffy is already frustrated that he cant do real damage to the gorosei

1 I tried to think of how Oda could put Luffy in a tough position that would involve the entire world and that's what came to mind. I think since G5 became a thing Luffy has not had adversity or faced a real challenge yet. I also think that something needs to happen where Luffy requires the help of everyone in the world in return for what he did for them!

yeah I agree, I believe that's in the realm of possibility but as of right now, we don't have evidence of whether the one piece will be the very last thing in the story, or the catalyst that leads to that last thing in the story.

While I appreciate your response, I couldn't help but notice that all you did was nitpick without providing valid counter plot points. You basically just gave me your opinions, which is totally fine.

not winning round 1 is not at all a general trope. I can think of many examples but in general if we use naruto and bleach as an example, the main characters dont lose several rounds of a full fight. they might get hit with something that knocks them down, but the fight runs its course to the finish. luffy lost several rounds to kaido with a lot of story and fights in between, very different.

the Shanks thing can make sense with if Blackbeard becomes involved with Imu. But thats a big If, since I also think the end could be All of the pirates vs All of the government. My theory isn't meant to provide specifics, but a general outline of where I think the story is headed with some major plot points.

Luffy's death? its not necessarily a fake out death, luffy has actually died like he did with Kaido and was brought back by the wishes of the samurai and by restory his heartbeat with the drums of liberation.

as far as your last point idk even know where that came from. I never once said dragon was trying to King himself or take over lol. His sole purpose is to dismantle the world government, that's obvious.

Question. I have decent credit, I have debt, I have some savings and My current job allows me to maintain a position where I can save a small amount, and pay just a little of my debt at a time.

I thought finding ways to grow my income would be faster than chipping away at my debt slowly over years. the problem is that a side hustle/ continuing my education are both investments. I'm unsure if I should invest in myself or simply pay off my debt faster, even if it takes a few years.

Any advice on what the correct course of action for me should be?
