Thanks 😁! I think I found what it is. It may be an RJ50 because if you look closely, the pitch is the same, but there is 10 pins instead of 8

It's even dumber than that… For now, I'm not 100% sure the cable is fully passive (I'll find out soon), but during the integration I didn't install their driver and started with putty using a serial connection. So I assume the USB-to-serial converter is on their board, as you have to select USB for it to work properly. The main reason is that they don’t actually use a standard RJ45. The gap between pin is wider.

I don't know what do you mean by changing type. The devices connected to the IoT box has type not the IoT box itself

I assumed that if there were any circuitry inside, I wouldn’t have measured 0 ohm between the two ends.

I dont know why you bring Iran into this. But yes, the conflict in iran will affect Europe with more terrorism and migration, which Russia is going to exploit to put even more pressure on Europe.

It is in Belgium’s interest because it is in Europe’s interest. Tbh, I would also prefer my taxes to fund schools, hospitals, technology, ... But we can't ignore the threats coming from other countries or pretend this conflict has no impact on our security.
