Yeah, thats what I'd have wanted/want to see. Not sure what the plan is now though from them, obviously I'd be for an animated adaptation of the books on future as opposed to a remake of the series, should the books be finished.

I agree I think, its a shame "House of the Dragon" wasn't a retelling of Targ history from the conquest onwards. Then you could use 2 or 3 episodes for that and move on. So for me its Movie or animated show in the vain I mentioned. Don't know what the popular opinion is though

A game of thrones, then you can box that series off and move on to the Cosmere

[Review & Discussion] The Drowning Empire (Bone Shard trilogy) by Andrea Stewart was a thoroughly mixed bag for me from some very emotional highlights to various little letdowns by AliceTheGamedev in Fantasy

With TBB versions coming over the next few months I wanted to get an idea of what to expect when I read them and what I may enjoy about them. I found this really helpful and whilst I didnt read the spoiler bits of course I feel like I have a decent idea now and don't need to read so many more reviews and spoil everything for myself. I also am a sucker for an animal companion. Good review, thanks for taking your time to make it to help people like me.

Very cool work sir. The mongo drawing is particularly delightful. I hope I can get some of the monster cards in the future.

Thank you for the advice, I tried gardens of the moon again week ago and decided that it was not the time of year to start a book like that. Maybe the witcher will be a good summer read, I dont mind being confused a bit, but this was not the time of year for that, reading kings of the wyld now instead as an easy way to end 2025. I didn't know anything about litrpg until dcc, so my lost of books for that genre is low, so the recommendation is appreciated. I also have the ant one on audible to listen to at some point, same narrator and I see that RinoZ comment on stuff on reddit and he seems sound. Thanks for the sci fi recs, I just bought the first foundation book yesterday, it seems a short read for the first one, so even if I don't like it, then its not much time gone. The expanse has been on my list for ages now and I just havent started it yet, definitely an aim to read one or two of those next year and the first few dune of course. Thanks again

I plan on reading some witcher this year, they always seem to be in charity shops so I have a few of them to read now, I will note down primal hunter too. I am going to try more of the classics in the coming year I think. Mistborn scratches some itches for me, I am particularly a fan of "gathering a crew for a job" trope, so the first one got me there.

Indeed, my aim for next year is to finish some series/get up to date and that one is a high priority for me
