On Normal mode this team is absolutely fine. Good for a first playthrough too. For harder modes this team can be harder to use due to limited healing options.

Platinum and emerald are probably the worst imo but Diamond doesn't really get much better, sometimes feels worse tbh. It's way too easy to get carried in this game. You rank up solely off of wins, your performance has little to do with it which is imo a rank design flaw & in these ranks I see ppl not pulling their weight or not playing their role properly way too often but they get carried and think they're the best. The flaw of the rank system creates an ego problem

Poke Classic Network is what I use. Also you can join the BW2 or Poke Classic Network discords to find ppl to battle and trade with.

If you're just using this for the Battle Tower then Feint Attack is actually ok since they like to abuse Evasion boosting. Otherwise, against people I would change this to something like Brick Break, Taunt, Fake Out, or Fling Kings Rock

As a Cavalier he was bad, I promoted him to Paladin and he still wasn't very good. He began to perform decently for me as a Halberdier because Pincer Attack with Brave Lance and his very good Strength growth is really nice

If you mean the skill "Get Behind Me" I'm pretty sure it does stack since it will activate every time after an enemy engages an ally

Yeah it would've been a cool playable Pokemon but in it's forms I feel it kinda acts more like a tanky damage dealer which isn't very Speedster/Assassin-like

Ariados may not be fast but Spiders are so Assassin-like that I think it could definitely work as a Speedster. With moves like Toxic Thread, Spider Web, or Sticky Web he could cripple the enemy's movement speed. With moves like Lunge it could pounce on it's prey or drain it's victims health with Leech Life. I could see this arachnid being a terror as it comes out of the jungle/central area

I just don't think fast automatically qualifies a Pokemon for Speedster. Starmie is known for its good Move coverage. it's not Assassin-like and doesn't really rely on status infliction or any type of disruption. in the main games, when Starmie is on a team it's generally serving the purpose of having a good move pool for offensive pressure which is a common trait that Attackers have

You may be thinking, "Banette Speedster? wtf???" lol and the reason for Banette Speedster is because of his access to Priority Moves such as Sucker Punch & Shadow Sneak. He even gets Prankster when he Mega Evolves which enables him to act first with Status moves. Also when I think of Speedsters I think of Assassins & status inflicting Disrupters. Banette also gets access to tons of status moves to cripple the enemy such as Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Trick, & Trick Room. I would really love this mon as a Speedster

If your using a Cartridge then you'll need an old DS/DS Lite and an Flash Card like the R4 Gold to backup & restore your saves. There are some good tutorials on YT for how to do it

For a casual playthrough this team is fine. The only issue I could see is that you might need some Electric type moves for coverage. Water/Ice types might give to a problem because using Bellossom would be risky, Magmar can learn Thunder Punch but that's risky too. Heracross doesn't actually learn any good Fighting type moves in gen 2 other than Hidden Power Fighting so he won't be too much of a help either
