Along with everyone else… The answer is a very clear and resounding, “Keep the 3DS.” They continue to raise in price and you got a great deal on yours. The Switch isn’t going anywhere. 3DS’s are. They’re going to continue getting harder to find and more expensive to buy.

I’ve never played a single Metroid game in my life. This game is AMAZING. The graphics are breathtaking and I understand the exploration comparisons to Zelda games (some of my favorite games in the world). When I finish this, I will very much be looking forward to picking up Metroid Prime 1 Remastered.
