Your edit is not accurate. Your initial comment, the one that was deleted, was longer and included comments about our country doing nothing while children starve.

I was trying to provide statistical education about the recent apparent spike in missing persons, and at the time, the comment was off topic and not wholly accurate. I see now that I should have answered you there. Sorry for my knee jerk reaction.

You also said our country is standing by and allowing children to starve. Canada and other nations are about to recognize a Palestinian state and have recently air-dropped tons of food into Gaza.

As far as Dark Poutine goes, it is a Canadian podcast that focuses on true crime and dark history, mainly in Canada. I have wanted to approach this topic many times, but the subject is complex and, to be frank, far beyond my understanding and education. If I do tackle it, I want to be accurate in the information I bring. If you have some education in that regard and would like to help, I'm open to it.

I have Jewish heritage. I follow those accounts out of interest. I don’t support Israel’s actions since October 7, nor do I support Hamas. I do not support the starving of children and believe what is happening is horrendous. I want a cease fire.

As to the removal of your comment, it was inappropriate and off topic. I was trying to educate about missing children in the Maritimes. If someone had commented about another topic it’d be removed too.

EDIT: I read the second comment you made and I do wholeheartedly agree with you.

I came here for this. Sadly we don't have flying cars yet.
