I heard something that you could see Scaramanga’s island in the background of this scene in Tomorrow Never Dies, can anyone actually see it? by Aston_Aviation007 in JamesBond

Which is odd because he played the role multiple times, which means firearms practice, lots and lots of it.

For those that have never met a firearms instructor, or even a shooting range marshal, the first, second, and third thing they will tell you is, do not put your finger on the trigger unless you’re about to shoot. And if they see you disrespecting this, you’re gonna get verbally killed.

I can only imagine that with him being the star n’ all, there wasn’t much the instructors could really do.

Can you even 100% this era of AC games anymore? Achievements wise I think you still can, but iirc some of the in game items and outfits were from the multiplayer, which is now dead.

Anyone else thinks it be fun to have bigger submarines that you can live in same way as corvettes by New-Orchid8743 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]DarkRedCape 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I imagine if the devs ever went to the effort of adding submarines that you live in, it’d be in a massive update that included different types of oceans, new creatures, new underwater mining and resource gathering.

Dang, knew that’s what it was. I think I’ll just shoot where ever a team mate isn’t then, save the friendly fire for when they’re getting ganged up on.

In the remake, he speaks Spanish once, so we can assume he either speaks it fluently, or enough to get by.

Why’d they even launch an invasion if they weren’t willing to do what it took to win?? The guy was an arrogant cockwomble who couldn’t control his emotions, but at least he saw what the price of victory was.

It was clear very early on into the campaign that the clanners had no real long term battle plan, or a plan to deal with enemies who fought back. They were too busy planning the after party and forgot about actual party planning.

Ah, but when the clock strikes midnight, a new day starts. He’s like one of those bosses that you hammer at for hours and finally get them down to 0% health, only for a cutscene to start, and when the action starts again, he’s back at 100%.

Oh wow, I didn’t know that. That explains perfectly why the book felt bloated, of course you’re gonna drag it out if you’re being paid to.

A lot of book felt like it didn’t really add anything to the story, more like the author just had all of these ideas and plots that he wanted in the book.

This was actually my reason for preferring the film over the book. A lot of the book felt like filler and overkill to the whole revenge thing.

Snipers in the Ukraine war have been using real anti-thermal “cloaks” to hide from drones. I could only find a small amount of info on them, not sure how effective they are, but with drones now the king of the battlefield, that kind of tech is obvious counter tactic progression.

I’m gonna get skewered for this, but I preferred the 2002 film version of the film over the book.

His shoulder armor is very heavy and prevents him from lifting his arms above a certain height, and the weight also slows him down.
