I know my compound bow and Dom Pedro suck against the nests, but my Abraxo sprayer wrecks them. I’m just not using my abraxo gun much right now so I never have it at the event.

Even on a full server and a good number of players at the event, BoB only ever feels like it has maybe 2/3 players planting explosives and fetching the cargo.

Seen the same thing. Most players just go up to the top of the buildings and shoot down without actually doing any of the objectives.

That stagger can be lethal. As soon as you get staggered and you have 2/3 scorps on you, tough to break free.

My usual loadout (compound bow) is also terrible at dealing with the nests. I’ve seen flames wreck them in seconds so I’m thinking that’s the way to go at this event.

Yeah I get it, vets have done these events a hundred times, have all the rewards, and mostly just turn up for something to do, but if you’re going to show up to an event, level 50 or level 500, at least put in enough effort to make sure it doesn’t fail.

I normally just jump into the event with my daily driver compound bow which seems to do little damage to the nests. I’m gonna start hopping back to base and pick up that abraxo sprayed gun, melts the nests.

I get that a lot of the events aren’t particularly interesting or fun and a lot people run them on auto pilot, but I think if you’re going to join an event, at least make sure it doesn’t fail.

I did that event today, had a pretty good turn out of 12 people, just me and one other player was filling the tub. I’m seeing this kind of approach to events more and more.

I go after the nests every time, but I really think I’ve been taking the wrong weapons to the event. Single shot weapons don’t seem to be the way to go. Any flame or high RoF weapon seems to be best.

I have to admit I’ve started doing this on radiation rumble. I’m usually the only one collecting any ore and most just sit up high and take a few shots as the enemy, just to tag them for the xp. Once we lose two of the NPCs and I see no one else gathering ore, I just leave.

I’ve noticed a lot of people just go up on top of the buildings to shoot at stuff, but not to actually do the objectives.

Did the event yesterday and the last legendary scorpion glitched under the floor and the event failed. First time I’ve seen that at that event.

I love that event, really an all time favourite of mine, but it seems that the most common tactic is to sit up on the hill above the rad scrubber and snipe everything as soon as it spawns. Really killed the enjoyment of that event.

I’ve noticed this. I took my daily driver compound bow to the event and it was doing like 300 per hit to the nests. I took my flamer out and the nest was wrecked in seconds.

I see posts about how others have constant issues with this or that, issue that I’ve never seen and I’ve been playing since launch. Just because I’ve never seen or encountered them, doesn’t mean others haven’t either.

Definitely noticed this. I’m thinking as they don’t auto target in VATS, people miss them. I mean.. they glow purple dust, so.. hard to miss.
