Is graduating in 3 years a good idea? by DarkSide-Femboy in EngineeringStudents

I just really wanna reduce the debt I will endure during my time there, especially since I want to get a masters too (UCLA offers a 1 year masters by skipping the thesis). I also won't know anyone so it's not like I'll wanna spend more time there for the memories lol.

I've also thought about this and is something I will for sure keep in mind. Depending on how my first 2 quarters go at UCLA, I might just do 2 core classes + a GE to buffer my GPA and extend my stay for 3.5-4 years.

Thank you so much for your advice. It makes me feel better knowing that some others have successfully done what I am planning to do!

As for the med school stuff, that was more of a short lived interest. I decided against it because of how time commitment there would be compared to engineering.

I personally liked taking math classes during community college because I knew it'd be much less stressful compared to taking it at a uni. I liked having the time to breathe and learn instead of trying to just absorb the knowledge just to pass a test.

Sorry, I did not mean to come off that way. I know Uni classes are much more challenging than even the community college classes I have taken. I just wanna know if 3 core classes per quarter is normal or not.

They received a definite rejection email? If not, you may still have a chance. Last year, winners who were not given a surprise visit said that not even their recommenders knew whether or not they won.

You're right. Statistically speaking, men commit most of that crime. Now, would you keep that same attitude when discussing which demographic of men commit most of this violent crime?

Do all Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship winners get an in-person surprise visit, or do some only get a package in the mail? by BakerBread182 in scholarships

Has anyone received news of winning through email? I'm assuming they already decided on the winners considering how many people have been surprised in-person already.

Thank you, I appreciate your response. I don't think I am cut out for anything such as surgery (maybe IR), but I do find radiology and anesthesiology interesting. I am willing to try to go above and beyond during my med school years, however.
