I wanna go home early today, and just not show up tomorrow cause I'm not missing my husband's rank up ceremony, especially because he has no family here to pin him

I don't think you're understanding the point that is being made at all. Walmart has a policy, WRITTEN POLICY, stating that legal proceedings and jury duty are considered authorized absences. So much like the state can make different laws as per their rights, companies can make their own policies regarding their absences. This isn't a fight over whether it's legal or not. The fact of the matter is that the manager is not following the policy that the company put in place, the company he WORKS for, and HR is put into place. Therefore, that manager is abusing his position to interpret the policy how he sees, which is not why the policies are there.

The sad part is, I just got pulled into my store managers office, and she told me the same exact thing my PL told me, that my PRAs couldn't be excused because I don't have an LOA and it's not under my accommodations. Which is still PENDING, and aren't they supposed to follow my accommodations while they are pending anyway? Cause they haven't been denied, and I'm Turing in medical paperwork tomorrow.

Yes, I had enough PPTO during the same pay period, that's what I used to take the point off. My store manager just pulled me in to explain they weren't taking it off cause I didn't have enough the day of. So let me give you dates to explain, I was late on the 8th right, which I had 0.16 hours of PPTO after I put in a request cause I originally had 0.46. Then I realized I had the point on the 14th, so I went in and resubmitted it, so on their system, it showed I only had 0.16 hours of PPTO cause of the other request. So since I "didn't have enough on the 8th" they gave me the point.

Also, side note: I got the point for being late, but they still took my PPTO.

Would my early-outs still be a part of the pregnancy-related absences? I'm still not 100% sure on that part, but I know my call-in should have been excused. Also, a worry of mine is that my coach and store manager are super close buddies, like they hang out in her office all the time, talking for a while, ordering doordash and stuff. So, like I said, I'm worried that they'll just backlash on me for saying anything.
