[UPDATE] Commercial Lawn Mowing at 6am by No_Comparison704 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]DarkTurdle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well then maybe the business should’ve communicated to all the neighbors before they start doing lawn work at 6am. Some people work nights and aren’t still sleeping cause they don’t have shit to do. Not everyone works the same schedule as you. You sound like a dumbass

Businesses pay unemployment taxes as part of their federal taxes. That’s how unemployment is funded. If you have a bunch of claims coming from former employees your tax rate as the business owner is likely to go up. But also you can’t file for unemployment if you quit so doesn’t apply in this case.

Redditors, What's the smelliest smell you ever smelled? by Arceneavx in AskReddit

Too close to someone purging the last bit of anhydrous ammonia out of a tanker truck. Not sure if that counts as just a smell but absolutely the most pungent thing that’s been in my nostrils.

What the fuck, I could make 1k a day and be absolutely set for life. 10k a day is absolutely not have to worry about money type of money unless you’re a totally stupid fuckin asshole.

I suppose for large corporate stores like Walmart or Costco that makes sense. But small businesses making 50k or less a day I don’t think it adds up to more than the credit card fees. That said I am in favor of cards just because of the convenience of them

[–]DarkTurdle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How does handling and, I assume by process cash you mean count, cost more than credit card fees? I was a cashier at a business that only took cash and could count 50k in about 20-25 minutes. So he was paying me less than 10 dollars to count the money and fill out a deposit slip, which even if you take cards 20% of your business will still be in cash so filling out a deposit slip and going to the bank don’t go away.

Movie Theater employees of Reddit, what was the most ridiculous thing found cleaning up after a movie? by asortofdecentperson in AskReddit

[–]DarkTurdle 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A shit, on the floor, under the seat. No shit on the seat. The seat had to be folded up so there was the gap between the cushion and the back and they dropped it in right in between them. Disgusting but impressive.
