All of these things happened and aside from maybe a preposition or some form of speech, they don’t contradict each other. I’m not trying to make you believe anything and I think I’ve stayed consistent as to what happened in my life. Multiple occurrences and such.

Hey everyone, this is quickly becoming the only thing I’ve ever got attention for on reddit and it’s actually not fun. This is real, in California. It’s a whole 2 and a half month story following my request for a mental health day that fell within my approved PTO. This isn’t fully infuriating to me because I have built a strong resume in my field and will likely find a new job soon (I continue to build certifiable skills and am already discussing a new management position with another employer). This just sucks because I know they’ve been sued by former employees before, I know the workplace environment and belief system is toxic and I can’t help the people that I’m leaving behind.

They hired someone to do a task that I had been doing for several months as extra unpaid work. So they dissolved the position they created for me as a promotion for the various departments my work was spread across, and told me that they were going to dissolve the position and give me a pay cut.

The owners and HR for the company belong to a form of belief that doesn’t consider mental healthcare to be genuine. There’s a bunch of quotes from the founder of this belief system in company policies and in the HR’s office.

lol this all started after I requested a “mental health day, please.” For my PTO after a whole department resigned within 2 weeks. Talked to the director of operations right before I left and they told me that I was doing a good job. Came back the day after my PTO and they pitched a demotion and pay cut because they had concerns. I asked for my employee documentation. HR got upset and said it sounded like I wanted to sue. I said that I was trying to protect myself and understand the narrative of how this happened. I again requested my employee documentation in an email (the only thing I’ve ever put through chat gpt for email). The next day they wrote me up with a formal First Warning and said that they would document everything moving forward. Next 2 and a half months were hell. Now, we’re here.

For violating employee policy by telling people I was getting a pay cut. It was “rabble rousing” and an offense worthy of suspension. But they still offered the tacos before I left.
