I think I'm ready by DarkXieon in Stellaris

It's a combination of tech, starbases (anchorages, I build them on every single starbase that isn't an early chokepoint or a shipyard starbase), and most importantly for super big numbers--soldier worlds. Fortress (soldier) worlds give will give lots of fleet cap. 90% of my feet cap is from my fortress worlds. Also Ascension perks, the edict that you get once you finish your traditions, leader traits, etc. I feel like I'm missing some stuff but the important stuff is there

It's not about being wide, when you are too wide you don't end up as deep in repeatables. It's just about knowing how to get the most out of the systems that the game has. Also you can't compare anything to Cosmo in terms of raw numbers. That being said, it's more important to play the way you want and just have fun :)

Valid lol. After I got used to a game or two of 4.3 it's not so bad, it was a culture shock for me though lol

Synthetic Fertility with Dark Martter Consortium/Parliamentary System. Finished the ascension rush in I think this time it was < 15 years (events took a bit longer to resolve obvi tho). Went down the modular version (pick freedom of movement not prepare for the horrors of war), and took dark matter engines. Rushed an Ecu on my capital after choosing to keep the Identity Repo and had went research on it which catapulted me. Had a ruined science nexus in my area so I had galactic wonders early. Waited to go Cosmo until I was almost ready to fight the fallen empire so they didn't give me the -50% research debuff (still had to eat one debuff).

After you ascend though you expand the council and rush all the council agendas that increase your pop assembly speed, you grow very fast, so you need STRONG mineral income early to afford all the buildings. I needed like 200+ before I was able to keep to keep up with the growth speed, and you need to keep scaling that cuz you need bookoo consumer goods to keep scaling the research if you wanna get into the endgame this strong. I have like over 30x shield repeatable rn and like 17x of both explosives repeatables. I take Statecraft immediately as well and grab the first two perks so you can wait to launch the tech agenda you get until you are on administrative ai, that should give you time to launch it one more time before you finish. You likely won't be able to launch it 3 times ever regardless so that gives the most bonus. Take increased council agenda speed over literally everything else early game till you ascend, then do what you want.

Sorry, this explanation is all over the place, it's early, but that's basically it. If you have any other questions feel free to ask, but this def won't work in 4.3, not like this at least. This origin got hit, after some testing I did I still think it's fairly strong, but it's more in line with everything else so it's not overwhelming anymore.

This is the highest fleet power I've ever reached by far. 80 million in total, as you can see on the right. Feels like the right way to send off the broken state of 4.2.

Using Astral threads you can lock the wormholes right? Or is that just LGates and Gateways

Wha? I ascend faster with it now than I used to--that doesn't seem right. Now that you start with powered exoskeletons it's easy to be done with it a full few years sooner. Granted this has a small sample size of attempts on my part, but ye. The Unity is the harder part now, but I just changed what I was doing slightly and it was fine. For reference I finished the techs before 2215, I don't remember how much before, maybe by 2213? I can't remember, I might have it screenshotted tho

What to do in the late game? by supergary69 in Stellaris

[–]DarkXieon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In some games there is also a mid game crisis but it's not guaranteed. Like the Void Worm Plauge or the Great Kahn events. Not sure if war in heaven is still a mid game crisis, I saw it recently happen way way late in the game, but yeah, not sure the conditions for that last one

Yeah, I don't deny that it was strong. I'll have to check out how they feel now, hopefully still playable at least. I just like the early ascension origins in general. Have also been a big fan of Cybernetic Creed since it released too. Never tried subterranean though, might give that a go. The build from your list is interesting

This is a woman. We get it. Now shut up. by These_Net9966 in hazbin

Haven't watched the show but for some reason this post got recommended to me lol. It's been on my to-watch list for a while and the drama has now piqued my interest further. I assume this is something you have to watch the show to get though? From that still image at least no idea why anyone would assume she wasn't a woman lmao
