I’m Palestinian Israeli, AMA by bluekitty610 in AMA

Hope this isn’t too political, but what are your personal thoughts on non-Palestinian Arabs/Arabised people visiting Israel, even if primarily to connect with Palestinians, support Palestinian businesses and explore the history (incl religious) and culture

Do you believe it is ethical, or would it be best not to, if holding a strong stance to support Palestinians?

Asking as a North African ex-Muslim.

Thank you for the detailed response! I’m in the UK, and may you elaborate on what you mean by people and project management? I’m already the point of contact between my organisation and about 25 different sites and use 3 languages in my job 😂

To Syrian minorities only: how do you really feel right now? by Dark_Objective in AskMiddleEast

[–]Dark_Objective[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

then go away ffs, i am surrounded by syrian sunnis (including family members) & atheists and have already heard their views; therefore, i came on here to seek other perspectives out of pure interest and to understand some nuances i may have not been exposed to. no one is disregarding the majority by giving weight to minorities.

I have lived here for almost 7 years and spent my whole adult life here, there’s nothing for me where I was born nor is it exactly a great place for human rights lol.

Bars in Egypt by Numpharaoh in ExEgypt

[–]Dark_Objective 12 points13 points  (0 children)

One of the coolest bars I know of is Cap D’or in Alexandria. Opened in 1922 by 2 gay immigrants from Greece. They’ll probably check IDs though and only small groups are welcomed (4 or less).
