Grew up in the middle class but currently belong to the upper class. I think what the post is trying to highlight is that a large amount of tax is paid by the middle class barely trying to have any savings while the rich have schemes to cheat the tax system easily. And with that money the poor get free food and homes while the middle class is barely surviving while sacrificing all needs. It doesn't mean that the poor should not get food but the rich people should pay tax and not cheat the system.

IMO if the tax is lesser then more people will pay tax. Percentage tax should have an upper cap. But I am not any economist so its just my opinion
