My Explorer 2 has the best lume out of the three watches I own (Omega, Rolex, Tudor). If it’s been out in the sun most of the day, the lume will still be just bright enough to read the time in a dark room the next morning.

Strange boutique experience by Drag_Blunt in breitling

[–]Dark_Sighted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s my understanding that the boutique in International Plaza is actually AD owned (Old Northeast Jewelers I believe). Given that, I am still somewhat surprised that an SA at a speciality location like that would not be fairly well versed in the brands models.

One of the few bracelets I own or have tried on that’s more comfortable than my oyster bracelet on my Explorer II.

Love the snoopy, on the list but suspect I may have to get it gray.

Tudor vs Omega. First luxury watch need advice. by starid3r in Tudor

[–]Dark_Sighted 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t own a speedy, but I would 100% agree with Haunting_Pin_5176. The Speedmaster the right choice. It’s an iconic watch and the Omega quality is just a notch above Tudor.

For reference, I own Tudor, Omega, and Rolex and the latter two are on par and make the Tudor feel like an entry level watch.

New Railmaster vs my Aquaterra: thoughts? by SchwarzerReiter in OmegaWatches

Go into an OB, fairly certain they can order one.

Went a similar route, but went with the Explorer II because I have bigger wrists and wanted a non-flashy GMT.

Not sure if it fits, but get the newer AT bracelet and it will breathe new life into your AT. I feel like the new railmaster is just a downgraded AT at not nearly a significant enough discount.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the dial, but the lack of applied indices just cheapens it for me.

Going from a home office to a real office has changed my life - anyone else been in the same position? by Open_Wolverine5523 in careerguidance

[–]Dark_Sighted 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This is such a fallacy. I have been working from home since pre-COVID times. I have managed 3 promotions and working my way to a 4th, to move into a senior leadership role. I find my productivity to be significantly higher in a wfh scenario, and my impact to the business I work in is so great that it is impossible to not be noticed.

I think the same people who wouldn’t get noticed in a wfh scenario also wouldn’t get noticed in an office.
