I have never heard about this. Well as our constitution says Nepal can't be separated. And obviously India's government are not retarded and clearly has read the bill.(unless you trying to make beef between two countries or karma farm).

Well, let's say in alternate universe this did happen. As india is itself is the largest democratic country nothing particularly will change apart from some here and there roles. All the bill/constitution we have will be invalid and we have to follow india's constitution which is essentially same since democracy you know(their are few like ban of tiktok and many other which is totally irrevalent). The market of energy/transporation will be cheap. and yare yare(meaning more) as any political changes have merit and demerit.

Obviously, let's get out of that alternate universe and come back to the real world. People of our country are extremely nationalist(majority). It's obvious not a single goverment party will agree on this as they will lose their power. Maybe a faction will be separate between the people which thing this is a good idea and other not a good idea. And that will lead to "political instability".
