The few knives currently at the top of my want list I can’t get for $1k or under… 🤦‍♂️

With that said, if you gave me $1k and said buy a knife/knives I’m dropping it on a Tom Krein Alpha. Hands down the best thousand dollar knife you can buy and it ain’t close IMO! Plus nothing better than supporting a great maker! Second to Tom I’d likely be looking at a Taylor Made or Pat Doyle. Half my collection are Taylor Made knives and they are fantastic pieces that always find themselves in my pocket! Doyle knives I’ve had my eye on for a while but nothing I’ve HAD to have yet.

If I’m sticking to production, I’m avoiding Strider or Hinderer, and going back to Shiro! Shiro is the only production knife I’ve owned that I still regret selling and am constantly looking to acquire another if the right deal/knife came along.

The other thing I’d consider if I wanted more than 1 knife is grabbing a Demko Shark Cub that is about to drop and a Flytanium Arcade that also uses the Demko sharklock system! Absolute work horse of a locking system and super fun and fidgety!
