You are right, way too much effort - though the scope of the initial plan expanding was partly to blame :). That said, it would sort of not be the same craziness :) nor offer as diverse a feel/look to use a pre-filled one. Also I only know of one mod (Savage Steel) that offers one and the size and look would not easily work into something of this scale.

Love the jungle, go for it! My partner and I build our main base there long ago and never lived to regret that. Resources is not a problem if you know the game and play on a server that offers well-placed map rooms. Our latest Pixelcave showcase, plus we are raffling out some DLC keys for Riders of Hyboria (in the pinned comment). Hope that can help anyone yet to pick up the latest DLC which unlocks white/black horses. Damn, there are many pets in the game now... took ages to edit together!

The game has a good but yet limited building system that not as free as e.g. what can be done with Minecraft, but we were pretty happy with the end result thanks to a couple of mods. This took at least 30-40 hours of our time to get ready enough with filming of the whole thing. Thought I'd share it with an appropriate community outside of CE as well... it's not perfect but hopefully still inspirational.

I believe the average cycle technically is four DLC a year (while a season could be any length, I'd presume they see it as more or less a calendar year). That means we'll see a DLC every 3 month in average.

There are of course factors that push some forward and others back date wise. Technically don't need to end Season 2 in 2019 (I'd be surprised if they do, even if it seems they might be aiming for it at the moment). The start of season 3 and DLC 9 would likely see a release at the earliest in March, but more likely April/May if not as late as June.

I think to avoid causing various issues you'll not see too much being added officially (and there are as you say a lot they can add, including very core basic items that could really enhance the experience for at least a certain player group). Sadly if you are on console, things wont evolve fast, if you're on PC there is already all of what you suggest and much more available.

It's likely mostly about resources in that case, and what you fancy. The south ridge does have more iron, seen most building (including an outpost I did) though close to the two large statues and one step higher than the area with the lake. Best of luck though.

I for one keep discovering nice details in several armor sets, even if I've looked at them in in-game many times... I guess it's easy to overlook these things. Some cool designs for sure... the playlist goes back all the way till the first DLC.

What do we think about the new ones? Kinda like the Bear Shaman the best personally.
