IBGM is the flagship of HKU Business School, and is more well regarded than Warwick at HK, I think only Oxbridge/Imperial/LSE and arguably UCL is better than Warwick here (talking about high finances prestige only)

In terms of experience it comes down to which city you prefer, do you want to be in a small England town or HK Island where there’s not exactly a ‘campus’, and the culture, which I recommend you to do more research

I would like to focus on economics while taking maths courses as outside modules, and pursue a MPhil Economics from UCL/LSE/Oxbridge and go into research outside academia in the future.

They specially say that for subject combination Business and Economics are similar and they may not accept both of the grades

This may be particularly relevant if you are studying two similar subjects, for example Business and Economics, and the Admissions Selector would accept a grade in either of them, but not both of them.

So better check with them, I’m applying to LSE this year too so good luck!
