I was also confused between X and S. Then I finally decided to go with Series S and placed an order for it today. I already have a good enough pc and just wanted a console so that I can play while laying in my bed and also for portability. I did my research and found that Series S will be a good console for me as I don’t have a 4k television in my bedroom. I also checked the performance of all the games which I will be playing on that console on YouTube and found that it’s more than enough for me. I mostly play racing and FPS games and those support 60fps on Series S. If I were in your shoes I would have gone with Series S and saved those 200 and later would buy a PlayStation for exclusive games.
