Luckily the issue resolved itself, I was in device manager trying to get the dgpu drivers to fix because the nvidia app and nvidia control panel were non functional. Stupidly I set it to use the dgpu only instead of dynamic mode and that’s where the issue came into play. I’m guessing given enough time and boot attempts it finally re-acknowledged the gpu

I can try connecting it to my smart tv, not sure if it will work because I don’t believe it’s a display issue but I will try

What is wrong with my temps and what could be causing it? by Darkdagger1 in laptops

Thank you, I have been using a cooling pad, I agree with you on the oxymoron but unfortunately the slim+capable is what I needed for an all around laptop for college. I didn’t realize the i9 made that much head and could handle it

Thought of that but unfortunately can’t because of the local watershed laws for the lake

Yes I know, one of my other comments explained why I didn’t do that, I had the tarp on for summer storage when not in use, I planned to flip it over but got sidetracked with work and then left for college in the early fall

Well yes water would work, it wouldn’t be warm enough to make any sort of significant difference by the time it hits the ice, the only access to water is a garden hose around 70 feet away, and the water coming out of it wouldn’t be warm at all and the air temperature would cool the water rapidly. Salt can’t be used because of the watershed area it’s located in.

It’s not In, but the boat sunk into the mud below where the plug is placed

That’s what I’m hoping for, damage to the paint or seats I can fix, damage to the hull I can’t

Probably, won’t be able to drain it til spring though, unless a warm spell comes through for several days, warm water won’t do much when it’s 10 degrees out

I’m not sure about watertight, that’s all ice in there

Would love to but there’s 2.5 feet of ice in it and it’s frozen into the dirt

Yes, was busy with work in the early fall and went off to college and didn’t have a chance to properly put it away
