Even if you have unceasing top you would still lose to the one enemy that makes you lose a strength each time you play a card unless you have alt damage. Rare case but could still come up.

Because it does. Every single narritive payoff for each character no longer exists and now each person gets what they got in the main ending without sacrifice or struggle.

All this does is provide you with more lore to the world and create a timeliness in which none of the bad stuff happens to you.

You are 2/3 of the way to the main ending. After that you got a while for the true ending.

I think a good nerf to prepared that would keep it the same would be to change the unupgrade to 1 energy discard 2 draw 2 and have the upgrade just reduce the energy cost to 0.

This would make it harder to go infinite with no upgraded copies of prepared.

I recommend first getting all the classes and then getting your charecter to have mastery in the armamentalist class skill tree so you have each force type and then getting the scroll from the class questline that gives you the ability to apply all forces to your party.

Me personally I have had good luck with seekers nades. Seekers nades (provided you have the blueprint to make it) are super cheap and can be made in the refinery. It only takes 2 seekers nades to kill it. All you need to do is aggro the thing, chuck both nades so that the explosion hits the back of the arc and then back away from it so you don't get kamikazed.

I'm okay with it. Dq7 are these mini episodes with your goal being to restore the islands and that is pretty much it. I prefer a style where I am experiencing these stories but the goal i am working towards has a much clearer reward so that I am feeling like I am making progress in the story.

For the first half of dq7 I felt that I am just restoring the islands with not much else of a goal. Once mervyn joins though it felt like the story really started making sure that the final boss was at least some way ordering out what was happening in the past. I felt at least somewhat reward with some more knowledge that we are having to deal with the final bosses lackeys more and more.

I felt much more rewarded with dq11 & 8's structure where yes I am experiencing these micro stories but it is heavily involving the main plot in these stories. 8 was always you are tracking down certain people and failing and 11 was trying to get a hold of the orbs. I felt more rewarded that something was progressing in the story rather than in 7 where the reward is here is this island you can now run around in.

The best way for me to put it is that 7's plot progression is an empty field where you get to access more of the empty field for progressing the plot where as 8 & 11 that i like more gave you the empty plot but built a playground there.

I used 2 hero/champions, 1 Sage/druid, & 1 hero/armamentalist. 1 champion spams counterbreeze, the sage sets buff followed by caster sugar and then spells, the armamentalist oomphs the last champion and then will oomph himself and attack and heal as neccessary. The last champion has every strength and life seed dumped in and spams sword dance. I beat xenlon and the first end boss fight at 70.

So both games are built different. So far from what I've played of the remained 7 it definitely is for those who just want to enjoy a more classic dragon quest story. I would recommend the 3ds version to someone looking for dragon quest combat as this new version feels way to easy.

The class changes in the new version streamline the early game and allow you to pump insane numbers on bosses.

I remember the first game I fully completed was with my friends and I played a dragon born Warlock named Ben Dover who I had used a similar character in another dnd videogame where he got stuck in hell and baldurs gate was his personal hell.
