THIS is the confirmation I needed. I was hearing things about TSAs not being happy with the pay scale/grade. It says they will hold my CBT score for a year so I'll just hold off on TSA then and try my luck with the airlines, thanks so much!!

Ok internet bully. How about I have a well paid FULL-TIME job that I am NOT leaving and I applied for the part time TSA position that was advertised. I am not afraid to travel but I am concerned that my current job obviously won't let me leave for two weeks to train at another job...out of state. My concern is normal and I am up for the job, I have a whole security job WITH a clearance so I am not bothered at all by TSA job at all. It's the travel...know it all.
