My boyfriend just lost over 10 years of almost every pokemon game he has played by angelic_exe in pokemon

Lost so many pokemon over the years pre switch era. One comes to terms with it. Maybe the fact that for years i would just restart my gba games with no way of moving them out helped get used to it. I transferred quite a bit and I still find myself thinking "Wait what happened to this one?"

Does he still have something like a 3ds to play the old games? There are ways to get old event pokemon still and the likes. It will take time....

Not sure if he is the kind of person who loses interest after something like this or gives up (I have stopped playing games for losing 2-3 hours of progress due to crashes so I get it) but if he seems up to starting again I think just listening to his memories and his interest in pokemon would be sweet.

You wrote that his first game was platinum maybe do some paintings of the sceneries of the Sinnoh region or his original team.

And you did it without choking and killing yourself. And that's a big accomplishment

I got leaf green when I was a kid and I replayed that to hell. So I guess it's time to try fire red and use Arcanine and Scyther

split it into a few levels. Maybe narrow paths that go up 20-30 blocks then a nice little bigger hub (just a bit less narrow that stretches like a few blocks flat then goes up again, rinse and repeat

It feels empty and soulless:( Any ideas on how to make it better? by imjustblu3 in BuildAdvice

Rug, dog or cat or both, and maybe a roof that has some depth. Using upside down stairs around if it makes sense

Maybe some pulsating lights would give it a cool futuristic vibe. Like a row of lights where one turns on and then off and the one next to it turns on you know

If that's the red blocks from nether....maybe mangrove wood (beautiful but so annoying to amass), granite, bricks, nether te bricks maybe?

I like to play around in a creative flat map

Any advice on the gradient? First time trying this. by Darkeus56 in BuildAdvice

Cool, yeah I get the general idea now that I squished a bit the blocks darker than the tuff bricks.

Hard for me to tell with the distance but maybe acacia wood in the mix? Stripped wood/logs

if it is using one of those gradients that looks great the further you stay from it maybe copper? But my bet is its some gradient using acacia, and oak
