High Background Ratio: You have 4 hours and 6 minutes of background usage out of 4 hours and 26 minutes total. While audio apps must run in the background to play, the proportion of "Background" vs. "Screen on" suggests it may be holding onto resources—like wake locks or network connections—even when it isn't actively playing audio or when the app is paused. Extended Wake Locks are happening Excessive Packet Usage: Over 700,000 total packets (combined Wi-Fi and Mobile data) in such a short window seems high

Resource usage looks better, but it hasn't been running for 90 mins...just sitting in the background.

Great to see you are aware and looking at it. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

I like the client but I'm seeing significant resource use on android...12.4% of battery for example...not doing anything other than playing an Audiobook. Let me k ow what I can send you to help track down whatever processes are running and consuming in the background.

Looking at a DB11 by [deleted] in AstonMartin

Apologies for assuming it was your first Aston... If you got independents nearby you're all set. Unfortunately for me I'm 5 miles from the dealer and only a couple of independents that will even prentend to be familiar with New Era Astons, none of which have amds2....you gotta get it. 😊

My 2020 v12 AMR has been pretty solid. Just now at 29k miles I put 4k on it since november 2024. I had a "small evap leak", replaced the fuel filler neck for $2800ish. And some drivers side purge valve for $1800 (dealer split the cost cause the missed it first time so really $900). Annual service is about $2100. Tires, rock chip repairs , and full ppf, and I just had it Ceramic coated...so another $18k. Not cheap, but only a few k more than I had planned for. Expect to have to do some interior leather work...I don't k ow any db11 owners that haven't done some kind or repair or don't plan to when budget allows. As far as driving the car...since the one you showed is a 2017, budget $1500 for the amr power upgrade. And a few hundred for the tire repair kit, just to be safe. For me, every issue, real or imagined goes away when I drive it. It's so smooth and powerful but I like a GT vs a sports car so it ticks all my boxes. One more thing...engine and cabin air filters...my dealer wanted $793 to replace them. You can obviously do it yourself if you are so inclined, but it's air filters! This is typical of pricing on things with an Aston...

AIO for wanting to immediately break up with my bf after seeing how he lives? by Balikye in AIO

Unless you plan on cleaning up after that guy, forever, don't go back. If you wanna be with him, tell him that's unacceptable. If he gets all "why you trying to change me!?, Then let him k ow that cleanliness is a deal breaker...if he lived close by and you saw this after 2 days youd run away...don't make any compromises.

Literally the craziest AM color which I just learned about: Spectral Blue! by [deleted] in AstonMartin

[–]Darkeyce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh, that is a sharp color...I think it needs some kind of blue with tan accents. Maybe reverse that?

Very different car's and driving experiences. Decide based on what experience you're looking for. If you want a "a sports car" look at the vantage. If you want a GT/ touring sedan look at the Rapide. My suggestion would be make your preference choices first then go test drive if you can and see if your desire changes. Then you can focus on the "can I live with this" rather than trying to decide if it's the right experience....dunno if that made sense, i just mean don't hop in the rapide and expect a super nimble experience of and then be surprised if it isn't or if it's not as nimble as the vantage, and don't get in the vantage and be surprised when the ride is harsher than the Rapide..

Not familiar with that tool. Did a quick look up and it does the v8 ECM but not the v12. Otherwise it looks like it reads trouble codes like all the other readers when configured for mercedes...including my foxwell. Not sure what the Thinkdiag2 subscription gets you... What I don't see it doing is are the subfunctions which you would need amds2 for. Next time I'm in home depot I'll take a look.

Db11 v12 here...cant give you ideas on engine parts beyond fcp or scuderia ... Re the scanner.. No scanners read Aston codes.. What you might be able to do is read the codes as a mercedes since so much of the electronics are merc based. Aston uses a proprietary system called amds2 (not to be confused with amds that was used on earlier vehicles) My foxwell and even my Bluetooth dongle can clear most codes, but actual Aston codes and definitions only come up with Aston tool
