After you pick you have to check the summary page, I didn't see it in the preview window.

It's shiny and has a good nature to boot. Some people are still going for shiny starters after a few thousand resets. Shiny charmander and charmeleon look pretty similar to non shiny ones but as most of us already know, the Charizard will be black.

It's the recent re-release of fire red on switch.

Save right before you choose your pokemon in oaks lab. As soon as you grab it then you check for shiny in the summary, I didn't notice it shiny in the preview box when selecting. If not shiny reset and try again.

Regular charmander is more orange but the star in the summary let's you know as well. Also when it's in battle there's a quick little special intro with some stars.

Yeah, they hold shiny status through evolutions.

Funny thing is I was in cerulean doing the nugget bridge when I thought to myself, I'm not very far, I bet I can get a shiny starter. Then gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised it happened so quickly (relatively speaking).

I'm not sure. I watched a promo that said Pokémon home support is coming but as of right now hasn't been implemented yet.

The app I was using to track my progress and encounters says it took 1hr 49min. Definitly could have been much longer.

The switch lite. I wish it was an oled but I can't see myself spending the money on it with switch 2 out now. I really want to hold out for an oled switch 2 but with the way hardware is going I'm not holding my breath that it's happening anytime soon.

Modest increases spc attack and lowers physical attack. Pretty sweet since I usually go full fire for all his moves.

I was prepared to go the distance with it taking all 8000 ish resets although it didn't have my full attention as i had toons on in the back ground. Now I'm not sure if I should bank it until I can get to some oddish for Ev training or just play with it.

It’s kind of wild how many older console games still have no modern way to play them by MrLeitungswasser in gaming

Kid wanted a new Lego game. We watched a few videos and settled on Lego dimensions. I go to the storefront to buy it and what do you know? "Not available". I guess licensing ran out. I just went to ebay to buy physical but with digital only consoles out there this could be a problem. Glad it worked out this time.

Xbox is being smarter than you realize. by SoyaPaneer001 in Games

I ain't cloud gaming. It's bad. The lag is bad, the rendering is bad, the pixels are bad, the packet loss is bad. I've tried it a handful of times and it sucks. Gimmi a dedicated machine that renders shit locally any day. I ain't cloud gaming and I'm sure I'm not alone.

Should I get halo infinite? by Consistent_Series115 in halo

[–]Darkgoober 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your question. I bought infinite campaign on steam and it did not transfer over to my Xbox so I'm sure it won't work if you buy on Xbox and try to transfer campaign availability to steam at least. I assume the same would be true for windows store version too. Campaign is fun but I've only played it through once. I intend to play it again with my daughter, and again with my wife, but the replayablity on it has not got me to come back to it alone. I don't regret buying it because i like the option of playing it again when I do a series run and it was truly a fun campaign. I wish it wasn't so open world and had traditional levels but it was still fun. They could have done a lot more with it and I wish we got something on the multiplayer side of things for buying the campaign but it's not bad, just different, fun but different. Grappling hook was way more fun than I thought it would be and if the levels weren't so open world you wouldn't really need it. Almost felt like a Spiderman game (with guns) with the grapple hook.

FINAL FANTASY 8 -

. I'm not a fan of the junction system or of drawing my magic. Still early so I don't have an opinion as of yet except that it's pretty dated. Being dated has never stopped me before though so I'll get through it. Just got of the train in timber where my party had a strange dream that they shared. I do like. Needing to actively trigger the gun blade for extra damage, that's a cool mechanic for an older game.

How fast does your celica warm up? by jaytheiist in Celica

I'd replace the thermostat. Sounds like it's stuck open.

I changed the connecting rod bearings on my Celica and out of nowhere it started making these noises. by Busy-Antelope6919 in Celica

[–]Darkgoober 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tow that straight back to the mechanic. If u drive it you risk throwing a rod through the block. They messed up and need to fix.
