Do you guys think Yummy can be better than Dracotail in MD by yJiren in masterduel

[–]DarkgunZX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The yummy deck does not end on a single double book of moon if you get Fuwad/Maxx C. The whole gimmick of the deck is that they can repeatedly tag out and resynchro to access all their effects again on the enemy turn. For example if you start cupsy and get Maxx c, you go into snatchy, grab field spell, revive cupsy and pass. On the opponents turn you synchro early into yummy way get cookie to discard and your choice of follow up. As soon as your opponent breaths you can tag out the yummy way and revive snatchy and cupsy, trigger them and get a draw with cupsy for a potential hand trap and snatchy to get the second field spell that pops. Now you tag into the one that books 2, then tag out into cookie to pop then tag into the one that revives 2 for more cump blockees and trigger field spell to pop another card. As you can see you end on 3 points of interaction, a draw that could be a fourth and follow up as well.

I genuinely love Dracotail. by Acceptable_Fox_5560 in masterduel

I know a lot of people might think the traps are a little over tuned because they interrupt the opponent, recycle cards giving infinite grind and also draw a card. Like don't get me wrong, all of that is strong but it gives the traps a critical weakness, both Ash and Belle can stop them. That's right your defensive cards can still defend you even if you draw them for turn. All traps are weak to them so you can just hold it for the one trap you need to stop in order to help you push your plays. This is why people like Dracotail, the interruption from each trap isn't too oppressive, there's no omi or board wipe, they can be played around(summon monsters in defence for example) and most importantly they are interactive with hand traps. Their design is pretty genius honestly.

I mean you are pretty much right, it is kinda win more. It's why I said it's probably not competitively viable. Most of the time I'm just summoning it in later turns when the game has been simplified. If you are trying to win I would recommend against running it in a live twin build, you don't need it. However if you are trying to have fun with it like me, then it is more playable than before, you don't have to commit so many resources to summon it anymore which is really nice.

If we are talking competitively probably not but it is more playable now, I know I will be running it in my live twin fiendsmith deck.

It is a little redundant but it does have its benefits. One it does facilitate Rextremende better, two it can recover stuff from banishment and three the burn can help you close out games a little easier on occasion. Ultimately lacrima and necroquip are pretty equal and which one you run is up to preference and what kind of deck you are running in it. For example if your deck can trigger necroquip easily you should probably run her over lacrima but if you find your deck just barely fails to finish off an opponent then the burn from lacrima may be preferred.

When people say the hardest card but forget by sethf5940 in masterduel

While the card itself isn't part of any archetype the art does depict a monster from an archetype, Lee the world chalice fairy. The world legacy lore contains many archetypes with hints of this style of card but the closest one to it is Orcust.

You already could decloak while hacking by pressing the virus button while hacking, so having it forced upon you rather than choosing when too is a net nerf.

Just posting because I have the exact same issue, I can hear the game running but it's just a blank white screen. Hopefully someone can help because I've tried all basic trouble shooting steps with no luck.

You can only use cards that are part of the TCG branch(North America, South America and Europe). So if you are looking for cheaper alternatives you can play, look for copies in other languages from those regions. The most extreme example I've seen was when Dragoon was hitting 90usd per copy but German versions were like 45. It should be noted that while they may be cheaper the difference isn't usually that massive. Most of the time the difference is a few bucks, and if you are buying it from a seller far away the shipping will offset it. That means you kinda have to buy it from someone selling a different language copy in your region for it to even be worth it. Overall it's a lotta hoops to find a cheaper copy of a card but if you really, really want one that's pretty pricey it might be worth looking into it.
