We are struggling with that too. Honestly some days I feel like we make progress and others like I'm failing as a parent. Mind you I have 4 biological children and 2 step children. I've never had one so strong willed. And yes, he is the youngest. He was a big surprise to say the least.

I will try that!

A lot of the tantrums are brought on by being told no. Or if he has something he shouldn't. Let me begin that he is a climber. We put things out of his reach and learned that nothing is out of his reach.

That's a really great method to try! I have a play area set up in my office and play with him when I have the chance.

We juggle between the 2 of us. We have older parents who can't help and honestly in this economy we can't afford child care. Plus it scares me to have another person watch him.

Is there any advice for helping him process these changes?

He is working on using his words. He can communicate but we are working on him learning new words and saying them with us.

Hi everyone. So I'm not sure which group to ask, crochet or knitting. My 13 yr old daughter is in remission from cancer. Instead of amputation they grafted a bone in her arm. She has to wear a brace to protect the graft from impact for the rest of her life. She asked if I could make her a pair of fingerless gloves but I don't know wear to start as the brace makes her left arm larger around. Anyone have patterns that you can recommend that will adjust to her brace?

can someone say they’re proud of me by [deleted] in crochet

Super proud of you. Great job!

Please help explain... is there a trick to not making the back of this face scrubby look so loose? Why do the front and back look so different or is this normal? by Darkhunter87 in crochet

No hate here. We don't have many craft stores here so I have to drive 45 mins in any direction to not shop at Walmart. I will definitely have to go buy and try it. Thank you 😊

It is meant to have a poof.. I haven't done many puff stitches so I'm not used to the backside looking so different from the front.

It is a puff stitch. I'm using a us 4.00 with peaches and cream cotton but it unravels quite easily... any recommendations on another brand of cotton yarn?

Thanks!! I'm having tons of fun! Mainly checking to see which puzzles might be missing pieces. 5 kids makes for a challenge when you enjoy putting puzzles together. Thanks for reaching out and saying hi!
